Major General Chevalier Henry de Donnea (1878–1963)

During the mobilisation and the eighteen-day campaign of May 1940, he served as a reserve Major General on the staff of the Namur Provincial Command. Following the capitulation, he spent two years as a prisoner of war in Germany.

Commander of the province of Hainaut, 1934–1935.
Commander of the 1st Guides Regiment, 1931–1934.
